Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Urinary Care Dry Food for Dogs
If your dog suffers with urinary stones, it is vital that it receives a tailored supportive diet. Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare has been specially developed to support urinary tract health and can help to reduce the risk of struvite or calcium oxalate stones forming. This dietetic dry food contains reduced levels of magnesium, calcium and vitamin D, which helps to reduce the concentration of the building blocks of urinary stones.
The urine-alkalising properties can help to support optimum pH value in the urine, creating an environment that discourages stone formation. It also has urine undersaturating properties in relation to struvite, which can help to reduce the risk of new struvite stones forming. This complete food provides balanced nutrition suitable for lifelong feeding of adult dogs and is frequently prescribed by veterinarians across the UK.
